remember that day last fall when i rode my bike around cutting hydrangea clippings from my neighbors?

it’s ok, neither do my neighbors….jk. they just all thought i was nuts.

they’re hearty and do so well in the cooler beach climates here in newport beach.

you can take a cutting, stick it in some growth powder and sandy soil, and voila…

pink-hydrangeasit starts getting little leaves and roots. then you transplant and they take off like this one hidden amongst the impatiens.

and then there’s the shade garden that i’ve planted…i’ve always wanted a shade garden and have finally been able to plant all the pretty stuff i’ve been pinning for years on my Pinterest shade garden board.
